Alphabet Playgroup at Caz's home.

We discovered the letter "N" at Caz's home today.

momstown Newmarket-Aurora met it Aurora for some play time FUN, snacks, books and a craft too.

Each Monday we focus on a new letter in the alphabet together.

Next week is "O" for Owl.

momstown visit's The Steven and Chris show on CBC

Our lucky momstown Newmarket and Aurora chapter planned another awesome trip to CBC to see The Steven and Chris Show.

We had a great time and momstown Georgina/East Gwillimbury joined us too!

It's very exciting to watch everything live and the gifts are always a bonus!

We are planning to go again in Feb!  Start looking for a sitter now!

"M" is for Marshmallow

What words start with the letter "M"???

Mom, momstown, mess, marbles, monkey, mango...MARSHMALLOWS!!!

This week's alphabet playgroup was a YUMMY one.  Together, we discovered "M" is for Marshmallow!

Our momstown Newmarket - Aurora children had a great time munching away at craft time, but they did manage to glue some of the marshmallows onto our letter "M's".

We read "Hand Hand, Finger's Thumb, and the ABC book along with our favourite touch and feel flash cards too!

momstown welcome's York Region Living to our Playgroup!

Reporter Heather Garriock from York Region Living and her camera man Jeff, visited our momstown Newmarket-Aurora's weekly playgroup at The Crossland's Church in Newmarket this week.

We sang songs with our musical instruments and had parachute time, then had snack and made some nice snowmen to tie in with our "Winter Wonderland" theme for January.

momstown Discover's the letter "L"

This week's alphabet playgroup focused on the letter "L"

We read "Because I Love You" and "Elmo Loves You" and coloured our letter with crayons and pencil crayons too.  

The children had FUN playing with Nicolas' toys and took apart his new train track...sorry!  I should have taken a before photo, it was a nice set up.

momstown Christmas Pot Luck Lunch

This week, we gathered at Diane's home for our momstown Christmas Pot Luck Lunch.  We all made something to share with the group, always nut free!

We read books (Thanks Dawn!) and sang Christmas songs,

 exchanged Christmas cards and had some yummy food too!

This was a nice ending to our Christmas events before our Holidays with our families.
