Well everyone, the countdown is officially on! Momstown Newmarket/Aurora will be up and running SOON! We've been running around like crazy ladies getting everything organized, and the word out- so it's only a few more tweaks that need to be done..and voila, we'll be open for business ...so to speak ;)
I'm Emily, one of your community managers for Aurora/Newmarket - working alongside Julie! I have two beautiful children of my own, Mason who is 31months and Madison who is 7 months [I can't believe it!]. We live in Aurora, and LOVE organizing and getting together with friends. We also have a few critters in our house.... a dog [Moose] and a cat [Matissa] and my husband recently surprised me with a 20gal. fish tank, which started with 3 fish...and now we're at 12 fish...2 sharks [mini] and 2 frogs... he swore he wouldn't go overboard.....ha. We have a dinosaur fanatic in our house , and everything he does is somehow dinosaur related... he wears dinosaurs every day on at least one article of clothing [but yes...I can actually clothe him from head to toe in dinosaur....]
I can't wait to get to know our new members, and get out in the community !! Get ready for some GREAT events ladies!! You're in for a fantastic ride!!

Paging all moms in Newmarket and Aurora!
Hello, everyone! WELCOME to momstown Newmarket-Aurora!
Momstown is a social networking site for all kinds of moms, especially those with kids 0-5 or are expecting. As a member, you gain access to a 24-hour interactive message board, as well as an online calendar that's filled with heaps of events every month (30+ of them!) for moms and their children. Our goal is to provide a framework for neighbourhood moms to connect for support or just plain fun!
And no, we don't just do everything online. We take advantage of the internet to get off the internet. We love face-to-face interaction! To give you an idea of what we offer, here's a list (but certainly not limited to):
