Feburary FUN!!!

Each month we follow a momstown educational curriculum.  This month our focus is on My Body. momstown Newmarket and Aurora is always finding FUN ways to keep our children happy!

This week me made people with cotton swabs! 

The kids love to use glue!
Staying with our curriculum, momstown Toronto-Bloorwest made paper dolls for one of their "my body" crafts!
Great job everyone!

Sometimes our crafts go a bit off topic, but the children did have FUN finger painting!  We tried to paint our bodies, I guess we all see ourselves differently!

Outdoor FUN; Snow Creations!!!

momstown mama Diane, hosted our Snow Creations event this week at her home in Newmarket.  The cold weather does not keep our group indoors for the winter.  This is the one time you CAN eat the yellow snow! 

We took squirt bottles from the dollar store and filled them with water.  We then added food colouring to make some exciting colours!  The children LOVED squirting the different colours into the snow!  A special "thanks" to 2 of our momstown Newmarket and Aurora moms, Miranda and Emily for the GREAT suggestions!!!  Happy times!!!
