Happy Ground Hog Day!
Our playgroup this week focused on Ground Hog Day.
First we had some fun playing hop-scotch together and practices hoping out of the ground like to ground hog.
Then we talked about what the ground hog does and what happens when he sees his shadow and what happens if he doesn't.
We made pop-up ground hogs with tp rolls, popsicle sticks and construction paper. The momstown Newmarket-Aurora children had fun using their ground hogs as puppets, peaking out of their hole.
Join us next week for our Valentine's Party playgroup! There will be lots of FUN, a craft and treats too!
